Apple Refreshes the iMac, Mac Pro And Releases Track Pad
Apple finally refreshes the iMac and Mac Pro Line. Even the entry level iMacs now come with the new Core i3 processor from intel, Apple has also abandoned the integrated graphics chip and added a dedicated one on even the entry level imacs, which is great news. But unfortunately Apple has not decided to adopted to the new standard of usb 3.0 or sata 6gb/s, there is also no hdmi port on the new macs. You are however now able to add an ssd along with a hard drive on the higher end imacs. Apart from the Mac updates, Apple has just released a track pad that is similar to the ones found on the macbook line, expect it is intended for use on desktop machines.
Experiencing More Issues From Fat Cow Hosting
Well guys, we are experiencing some more down time and slow loading due to our hosting provider. When the website is finally up I will have a whole article on issues I've been having from Fat Cow Hosting. It has only been a couple months, and I've had downtimes aswell as slow loading times. Keep in mind when a hosting provider says unlimited bandwidth or space, that is not actually true, there is no such thing as unlimited space or bandwidth. So be sure to choose one that is honest about its features.
Iphone 4 Signal Issues, Steve Jobs Deny's Problem
It's no secret that Apple released their iphone 4 line of mobile devices just in the last few weeks. Now that they are available to purchase, a lot of customers are having issues with reception, the reason it is having issues is due to the design flaw, Apple recently announced that the antenna's are built on the side of the device, which is why when you hold the iphone the reception is either cut off or you get very slow browsing speed. Steve Jobs himself is denying the issues, infact even the Apple Genius' say that "There is no signal issue". Its very disappointing to see Apple blatantly lying to its customers.
New Design And Updated Specs For Apple Mac Mini's
Apple has finally updated the mac mini's. It has now gotten a brand new all aluminum look, and it is also thinner then the previous mac mini. Apple has also adopted an HDMI port, which means you can hook up your mac mini to the tv. The downside is the price has been bumped up about $100 dollars. Apple claims it has a two time faster graphics chip, support for up to 8GB memory, and upgrading memory and hard drive is made easier.
Blogging Made Easy With Blogo
I just came across an application that makes blogging easy! the content management systems it supports are the following: wordpress, twitter, drupal, typepad, expression & movable type. No longer need to login through your browser. The downside is there is currently no support for the windows platform. Finally Got My iMac Replaced, Took Some Arguing
Well I finally managed to get my iMac back, It took longer then expected, long story short, when Apple says 48hrs it apparently means 10 days. All I can say is don't trust Apple's word if your promised your computer earlier. As far as the blog goes, its been coded to wordpress, but the comment area needs to be coded, along with the internal page, expect it to be completed on the 1st of July
Apple Care is Horrible. Heres My Experience
I'm so pissed off, Apple care is horrible, they don't give a **** about customers, I sent my iMac for repair last week! The girl there said it would take 48hrs, Its been 7 days, I called just 10 minutes ago, and I don't get a justified response, the person said Apple Care Genius will call me back.. I'm a designer and I have work to do, my client might go to someone else..
I want a replacement or a repair, god =/ how hard is that, I honestly could take apart an imac and replace the LCD myself in one day.. Whats taking them 7, don't make promises you can't keep..
This is really unacceptable, and you know what, If I don't get it by tomorrow, I will tarnish Apples reputation, I will post everywhere I possibly can about the horrible service.. What bugs me the most is we pay premium for Apple products, yet we can't get decent service =/..
